We are passionate about helping patients find their seat at the table to fully participate in their healthcare, regardless of what language they speak or sign.Position SummaryThe Linguist Services Specialist plays an essential role in ensuring Linguava promotes a supportive environment for linguists across all service lines, including onsite, translation, over-the-phone, and video remote interpreting. Guided by our core value of Above and Beyond Customer Service, this position ensures timely responses to linguist inquiries, builds community through appreciation events, and cultivates a strong sense of connection and support. The role also provides education on client contractual requirements, assists linguists in obtaining and maintaining Healthcare Interpreter credentials, and partners with internal teams to align with organizational standards.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesLinguist Liaison and SupportServe as the main point of contact for Linguava's linguists and respond to all inquiries promptly and effectively via phone and email to deliver first contact resolution whenever possible.Conduct proactive check-ins (e.g., 30-day post onboarding) and ongoing outreach to dormant or low volume linguists identified through internal reports.Research and resolve service issues reported by linguists, document root cause and follow-up actions.Communicate important company updates, operational changes, and regulatory requirements to Linguava's linguist network.Provide support with the scheduling application in person or remotely, including basic troubleshooting and guidance.Compliance & DocumentationManage and maintain complete, organized compliance and credentialing records, track expirations and identify missing documentation.Create and analyze monthly compliance reports to assess overall status and trends.Conduct targeted outreach campaigns to drive completion of required credentials and training.Coordinate background checks and federal exclusion verifications.Lead campaigns to achieve and sustain 100% linguist completion of required training.Assist with client audits by compiling and delivering requested interpreter records accurately and on time.Interpreter Engagement and Community BuildingPlan, coordinate and host linguist appreciation events across Oregon as needed.Track event attendance, solicit feedback via surveys, and translate insights into action plans as
