Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Voice Engineer/Network Engineer (Intermediate) - SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED to provide technical leadership in the planning, investigation, design, and implementation of physical and logical communications solutions with network-wide impact. This contract position is on-site and offers the opportunity to work on complex networking infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide technical leadership in planning, investigation, design, and implementation of communications solutions

· Integrate digital encoding formats, line codes, and timing concepts across engineering disciplines

· Collaborate with team members, customers, and vendors to define and analyze communications requirements

· Prepare complex workprints and schematics to define entire network structures and solutions

· Identify and recommend new design tools for communications projects

· Evaluate projected corporate network usage and implement media solutions

· Participate in marketing proposals and studies by providing costing models and technical solutions

· Recommend product modifications and influence vendors to incorporate changes

· Plan, design, and implement network management systems to monitor and measure performance

· Recommend new network administrative systems to ensure accurate inventory and timely implementation

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of Secret Security Clearance
  • Education: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a relevant field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:

Network/WiFi Engineer (Intermediate)

Server/Systems Engineer (Intermediate)

Voice Engineer (Intermediate)

ISP/OSP Engineer (Intermediate)

Preferred Qualifications

  • DoD experience - specifically working with the U.S. Army
  • IAT Level II
  • Security +, CCNA or equivalent
