Pay Range

USD $137, USD $172,485.00 /Yr.

Due to growth, Navitus Health Solutions is adding a Director of Software Quality Assurance to join our team

The Director of Software Quality Assurance is the senior leader accountable for defining and executing the enterprise-wide software quality strategy, ensuring software products consistently meet the highest standards of performance, security, and customer experience. This role emphasizes measurable delivery of quality outcomes, strategic leadership of testing programs, and enterprise adoption of automation and AI-enabled testing approaches.

As a key member of the CIO's leadership team, the Director will establish long-term quality strategies, champion continuous improvement, and partner with software development management, product owners, and business leaders to embed quality into every phase of the software development lifecycle. This leader will have a proven track record of building scalable quality assurance frameworks, driving automated testing at enterprise scale, and implementing innovative approaches, including commercial off-the-shelf solutions and AI-enabled testing, to accelerate delivery without sacrificing quality.

Responsibilities

How do I make an impact on my team?

  • Define and own the enterprise Software quality assurance strategy aligned to business outcomes, customer experience, and organizational goals.
  • Set direction for all quality assurance resources, ensuring consistent processes, methodologies, and standards are followed across all development teams.
  • Establish quality KPIs and dashboards to measure release readiness, customer impact, and overall software quality, ensuring visibility across the organization.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of System Quality managers, quality automation engineers, and testers.
  • Ensure quality assurance associates understand and follow the group's strategy while being empowered to design and execute test plans tailored to specific applications and projects.
  • Create a culture of accountability where quality assurance teams take ownership for delivering quality outcomes in partnership with development teams.
  • Cultivate continuous learning in automation, AI-driven testing, and emerging quality assurance practices.
  • Drive maximum integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
  • Lead initiatives to adopt predictive defect analysis, self-healing test automation, and other advanced testing technologies.
  • Maintain system stability and performance by ensuring defects are detected and remediated early in the lifecycle.
  • Participate in, adhere to and support compliance and diversity, equity, and inclusion program objectives.

Qualifications

What our team expects from you?

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience in software development and quality strategies, required.
  • 10+ years of progressive quality assurance experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated success building and managing large quality assurance teams aligned to enterprise quality strategy.
  • Proven ability to deliver large-scale automation strategies using commercial testing platforms (e.g. TestComplete, ReadyAPI, Playwright, Behave, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Direct experience implementing AI-driven or machine learning–based testing solutions.
  • Strong track record of measurable improvements in quality, release predictability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Industry experience in regulated environments (e.g., healthcare and Pharmacy Benefit Management organizations) strongly preferred.
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
  • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
