Job Summary:

  • To interact with the children and encourage their involvement in activities.
  • To assist the supervision necessary to ensure the safety of each child, and prepare a warm, safe environment that is orderly and clean
  • To assist the Head Teacher in preparing materials needed for the program.
  • To assist the children with activities and projects during preschool and play
  • To assist children outside daily. To assist the children in accessing indoor and outdoor large motor equipment.
  • To establish and maintain good communication with parents.
  • Required Skills and Experience:
  • 1-2 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred)
  • Required to have DE First Teacher Qualifications for Assistant teacher – TECE I or TECE II or possess active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential
  • CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
  • Health and Safety Class
  • Must meet state specific guidelines for the role
  • Must be background checked before starting
  • A love for children and a strong desire to make a difference in a child's life.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $18.00 per hour
