Responsibilities:

  • Create a loving and nurturing classroom environment with strong classroom management skills and positive behavior guidance
  • Create and implement balanced curriculum to meet each child's developmental needs including spiritual development
  • Assess children as needed, providing referrals when needed
  • Manage daily schedule to meet physical and emotional needs of children
  • Build and maintain positive partnerships with families, children, co-workers and administration
  • Communicate effectively with families, co-workers and supervisors
  • Maintain a safe, supervised and supportive environment for children to grow in their independence and developmental milestones.

Qualifications

Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care Teacher Qualified

Obtain/maintain current CPR and First Aid certification

Must be able to lift/carry 35 lbs., move, stand or sit as needed to care for young children.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
