Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal/Case Manager to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the area of case management. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously, and proficiency in legal research and documentation. The Paralegal/Case Manager will support attorneys by preparing legal documents, conducting research, and managing case files to ensure efficient case progression.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, proofread, and review legal documents including contracts, and correspondence.
  • Manage case files using document management systems such as iManage and PCLaw.
  • Conduct interviews to gather necessary information for cases.
  • Organize and maintain case documentation ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
  • Coordinate project management tasks related to ongoing litigation or administrative support within the law office.
  • Provide executive administrative support including data entry, filing, transcription, and clerical duties as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and other stakeholders while maintaining professional phone etiquette.

Experience

  • Proven paralegal experience in a law office setting is required; familiarity with various areas of law.
  • Strong writing skills with experience in document review are essential.
  • Proficiency in legal case management software and document management systems is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct effective legal research and manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Prior experience in administrative roles that require strong organizational skills is a plus.
