The Receiving Clerk is responsible for managing incoming deliveries, organizing storage areas, and supporting food and beverage operations. This role ensures accurate inventory control, timely processing of requisitions, and proper handling of guest and group packages. The position requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Check in all incoming products and guest packages; assist with shipping guest packages and in-house needs.
- Organize and maintain vegetables, coolers, freezers, and storage areas.
- Clean coolers and storage spaces to maintain hygiene standards.
- Prepare requisitions for Market, Buffet, and Bar; process cafeteria orders.
- Coordinate daily deliveries (Pepsi, US Foods, Mr. Greens, etc.).
- Assist in preparing food items for kitchen processing.
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records.
- Place daily system orders for missing products as needed.
- Record invoices in the system for processing.
- Support package receiving (Amazon, FedEx, UPS) and distribute packages for group events.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of all food and beverage storage areas.
Qualifications
- Refined verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift, pull, or push moderate weight.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, email, and system navigation.
- Flexible schedule availability (AM/PM shifts, holidays, weekends).
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
