Role Purpose
This role ensures smooth, efficient, and profitable front-office and store operations. The General Manager serves as the primary customer contact, administrative lead, financial process steward, and operational support to the owners. By managing daily business functions, this role frees the owners to focus on strategic growth, vision, and long-term planning.
Key Responsibilities
Showroom & Customer Engagement
- Serve as the first point of contact for walk-in customers, ensuring a professional and welcoming showroom experience.
- Demonstrate products, answer questions, and support customers through each step of the buying process.
Sales, Invoicing, & Payment Processing
- Execute sales transactions, create invoices, receive payments, and ensure all customer records are accurate.
- Maintain high accuracy and timeliness in all sales-related documentation.
Financial & Administrative Management
- Manage QuickBooks and oversee day-to-day bookkeeping, banking tasks, and financial data accuracy.
- Support cash-flow health by following up on overdue invoices professionally and consistently.
- Keep administrative systems, folders, and documents organized to ensure a streamlined front office.
Employee Coordination & Internal Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for departmental staff, reinforcing boundaries so owners are not pulled into day-to-day issues.
- Support employee onboarding, communication, and operational guidance as needed.
Marketing & Sales Development
- Manage basic marketing efforts, including social media updates and light promotional tasks as directed.
- Participate in sales training to strengthen ability to follow up with leads, nurture prospects, and close sales.
- Conduct outreach to local businesses, fleets, and dealerships to generate new business opportunities.
Business Dashboard & Reporting
- Maintain clean, accurate records for business dashboards, KPIs, sales reports, and operational health metrics.
- Provide regular updates to the owners to support decision-making and forecasting.
KPIs / Success Metrics
- Invoicing Accuracy Rate – Ensures financial and administrative reliability; directly supports profitability and owner confidence.
- Payment Collection Rate – Measures cash flow health, which is crucial for business stability.
- Sales Conversion Rate – Captures customer engagement and showroom effectiveness, driving revenue growth.
- Customer Satisfaction – Reflects the quality of the showroom experience and service delivery.
- Operational Dashboard Accuracy and Timeliness – Supports the owners' decision-making and tracks performance across the business.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar financial software, or demonstrated ability to learn quickly.
- Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and natural customer-service ability.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in administrative, operations, or customer-facing roles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; exercises discretion and sound judgment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Skills & Bonus Qualifications
- Advanced bookkeeping and banking experience.
- Experience in automotive accessories, installation services, or related technical retail.
- Experience documenting processes and improving systems, templates, and workflows.

Additional Expectations
This role will receive sales support to strengthen the ability to pursue, follow up with, and close leads. The General Manager may also conduct outside sales outreach, including contacting:
- Local businesses for fleet upfitting
- Dealerships for lot truck upfitting
- Other potential partners or referral sources
Pay: $55, $65,000.00 per year
