Location : Dallas TX ( Hybrid role)
About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of Generative AI solutions at Blue Yonder.

You'll work closely with researchers, product managers, and other engineers to transform state-of-the-art AI models into reliable, scalable, and user-friendly products.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and optimize AI inference systems for large language models and multimodal AI
  • Build robust APIs and services that power AI-driven features for supply chain management applications
  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines for model training and evaluation
  • Create developer tools and frameworks that enable internal teams to leverage AI capabilities
  • Contribute to model fine-tuning, deployment, and monitoring workflows
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute product roadmaps
  • Expertise in optimizing high-performance, low-latency systems
  • Knowledge of prompt engineering and AI safety/alignment techniques
  • Document code, algorithms, and methodologies for reproducibility and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay current with the rapidly evolving generative AI landscape

  • Software/Tools: Python, GitHub, , , GitHub Actions, Codacy, GitHub Advance Security, Black Duck Hub, BlazeMeter, Artifactory, Ansible, Docker, etc.
  • Application Architecture: Scalable, Resilient, event driven, secure multi-tenant Microservices architecture
  • Cloud Architecture: MS Azure (ARM templates, AKS, Virtual Networks, Event Hub, Azure AD)
  • Frameworks/Others: Kubernetes, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Spark, NOSQL, RDBMS, Snowflake

Required Skills
What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Min of 2 to 3+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on Python development building APIs ( MUST)
  • Strong understanding of Generative AI concepts and techniques, with practical experience in developing and implementing Generative AI models and algorithms. Proficiency in programming languages used in AI and machine learning, such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies and kubernetes
  • Understanding of distributed systems and performance optimization
  • Knowledge of modern software development practices including CI/CD, testing, and version control
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with large-scale datasets and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Self-driven with the desire to take ownership and ability to work across the full stack
  • Background in MLOps, model deployment, or model serving infrastructure
  • Expertise in optimizing high-performance, low-latency systems
  • Knowledge of prompt engineering and AI safety/alignment techniques
  • Contributions to open-source projects in the AI space

The salary range for this position is $87,515 - $123,765

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
