Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. You will assist customers with inquiries, resolve issues, and promote products effectively. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries in a friendly manner.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable items.
  • Maintain stock levels by assisting with inventory management and ensuring shelves are well-organized.
  • Utilize basic math skills to process transactions and manage cash handling responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless shopping experience for all customers.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in inventory management and sales tracking.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers.
  • Experience in supervising staff is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Proven ability in upselling techniques to enhance customer engagement.
