As we continue an exciting phase of rapid growth and national expansion, Salman Capital Funding is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Underwriter to join our dynamic team. You'll be at the center of the action — analyzing, evaluating, and structuring loans across a diverse portfolio of multifamily and mixed-use properties, while working closely with our origination and credit teams to drive smart lending decisions and fuel our continued success.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess loan applications, evaluating the financial viability and risk factors of each borrower and loan.
  • Mitigate risk by conducting thorough due diligence, analyzing creditworthiness, collateral value, and repayment capacity.
  • Collaborate with sales and business development teams to build strong relationships with brokers and borrowers.
  • Lead and provide strategic guidance to the team, ensuring efficient and accurate operations.
  • Play a pivotal role in driving our company's growth across all aspects of the business.

Qualifications:

  • Previous lending underwriting experience is essential, with an understanding of industry standards.
  • Analytical skills to make data-driven decisions and evaluate complex financial information.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey findings and recommendations effectively.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with adaptability and resilience.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related field preferred.
