Media Mill Technician

This position is a full time, Monday through Friday in the facility. Working hours are from 7:00am - 3:30pm

POSITION OBJECTIVE:

This position will be responsible for operating and performing routine maintenance of media mills in support of ink manufacturing. This position will also provide preventative/routine maintenance support for other production equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Responsible for all aspects of daily mill operation and routine mainenance.

· Review specifications and raw materials based on the batch ticket for product to be milled.

· Mixes raw materials following company specifications to mill the product.

• Maintain a clean, safe and well-organized work area.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Basic math skills

Basic computer skills

Basic electrical knowledge

Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controls, a plus

Organized/detail oriented

Self directed

Not afraid to get dirty

This position requires frequent heavy lifting up to 40 lbs. and may require long periods of standing.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Occasionally exposed to temperature fluctuations due to weather conditions. Exposed to noise and dust. Potential exposure to various odors from solvent use.
