Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Kony (Temenos Quantum) Developer to lead the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise-grade mobile applications for our client, Regions Bank. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Kony Visualizer, MobileFabric, and backend integration technologies, along with a strong background in Java and mobile development within the banking domain.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and optimization of mobile applications using Kony Visualizer with Free Form Architecture.
Develop and manage backend services using Kony MobileFabric, including service orchestration, authentication, and pre/post processors.
Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
Integrate backend systems using Java, Spring MVC, Hibernate, and web services (SOAP/REST APIs).
Conduct testing, debugging, and deployment using Android Studio, Eclipse, and related mobile toolsets.
Design efficient database schemas and queries leveraging Oracle, PostgreSQL, or other enterprise RDBMS.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure quality and maintain best practices.
Work closely with QA and DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and secure deployment processes.
Maintain and enhance legacy hybrid mobile functionalities using Apache Cordova while contributing to modernization initiatives.
Ensure all deliverables meet banking industry regulations, security compliance, and performance SLAs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
15+ years of overall software development experience, including 10+ years in mobile application development.
9+ years of hands-on experience with Kony/Temenos Quantum (Visualizer & MobileFabric).
Strong programming expertise in Java, Spring MVC, and Hibernate, with experience in API development and integration (SOAP/REST).
Proficiency with Android development tools, debugging techniques, and testing frameworks.
Hands-on experience with enterprise databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and database performance tuning.
Experience with Apache Cordova for hybrid mobile application development.
Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Previous experience in Banking or Financial Services industry is highly preferred.
Kony/Temenos Quantum certification is strongly desired.
