Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In-Home Care Providers to deliver personalized care and support to clients in their own homes. This role involves assisting individuals with daily activities, monitoring health status, and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care, disability support, or related fields, and possess a strong commitment to enhancing clients' quality of life through attentive caregiving.

Duties

  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
  • Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe living environment
  • Support clients with cognitive impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer's through memory care techniques
  • Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance
  • Observe and document patient conditions
  • Assist with transportation to appointments or community activities as needed
  • Implement individualized care plans developed by healthcare teams or social workers

Skills

  • Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing home, or hospice settings
  • Certifications such as CPR and First Aid are highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and care team.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and operate assistive devices like Hoyer lifts safely
  • Compassionate attitude with patience for working with seniors or individuals with disabilities
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality at all times
  • Ability to work independently while adhering to care plans and safety protocols
