Role Description

We are seeking a skilled Guitar Technician for a part-time, on-site position in Rockville, MD. The Guitar Technician will perform a variety of tasks, including repairing and maintaining guitars and other musical instruments, troubleshooting electronic issues, performing fretwork, and assisting customers with instrument-related inquiries. The role also requires upholding quality standards and ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Guitar Repair and knowledge of various Musical Instruments
• Experience or expertise in Lutherie, including working on wood and instrument construction
• Skill in Soldering and troubleshooting guitar electronics
• Knowledge of Acoustic guitars and their specific maintenance needs
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality repairs
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and hands-on environment
• Formal training in lutherie or related certifications is a plus
