Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid background in accounting and financial services. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and providing exceptional customer service. The Specialist will work closely with various departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

Duties

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
  • Perform bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and account reconciliation, to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage for efficient financial management.
  • Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
  • Provide support in financial reporting and analysis to assist management in decision-making.
  • Engage in negotiation processes with vendors and clients to secure favorable terms.
  • Maintain high standards of phone etiquette while interacting with clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency within the financial department.

Skills

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, and other accounting software is essential.
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping, accounting principles, and financial services.
  • Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail for accuracy in financial documentation.
  • Solid analytical skills for effective account analysis and problem-solving.
  • Ability to perform account reconciliation efficiently.
  • Strong math skills for handling numerical data accurately.
  • Exceptional customer service skills to foster positive relationships with clients.
  • Effective negotiation skills to achieve beneficial outcomes in vendor agreements.
