As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence. Your role will include conducting routine patrols, responding to situations as needed, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking into account the unique needs of a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns or unauthorized activity.
• Remain alert to surroundings and report any unusual behavior, potential hazards, or maintenance issues observed during patrols.
• Interact professionally with patients, visitors, and staff, assisting with directions or information as needed while maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, checking identification as required, and helping to maintain a secure environment for all individuals on site.
• Support Allied Universal management and site leadership in implementing security-related protocols and adapting procedures to the needs of the healthcare location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Must hold a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a valid New Jersey Retired Police Officer certificate.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
