Alert Healthcare is a healthcare company providing mobile and other healthcare services to residents, communities and organizations throughout Rhode Island. We are currently looking for a Part Time Experienced Registered Nurse to fill a Mobile Street Outreach Team role. This is a Monday thru Thursday Position, No weekends, No Holidays and No overnights. 35 hours per week.

Daily Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Daily visits to community members throughout the state of Rhode Island (Visits include routine check-ins, Clinics at shelters, mobile outreach, street medicine, ect)
  • Nurse will be responsible for possibly providing the following during day to day visits-
  • Obtaining Consent
  • Medication Reconciliation
  • Basic vital signs
  • Patient Assessments
  • Medication Administration
  • Telehealth with Providers
  • Basic Wound Care
  • Documentation for each patient encounter
  • Other miscellaneous tasks within the RN Scope of Practice
  • Must be willing to work independently in the community while still maintaining an open line of communication regarding patients, patient care and appointments with the Mobile Street Outreach Care team, Case Workers and Providers.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Background working with Street Outreach preferred but not required.
  • Must be willing to build relationships with community members, be active in assisting any help available.
  • Use reasoning skills and good judgment

Education, Experience, and Licensure and Hire Requirements:

  • Currently licensed/registered in Rhode Island. Must maintain an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing throughout employment.
  • CPR certification upon hire. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
  • Provide Immunization records (MMR, Varicella, TDap and Hep B)
  • Provide Background Check
  • Provide a clean Driving Record
  • Complete a TB test and Fit Test upon hire

Specific Job Information

  • PAY- $45.00 per Hour.
  • Hours- Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays either 7a-4p or 8a-5p and Thursdays either 7a-3p or 8a-4p (35 hours per week)
  • Company Vehicle and Fuel Card provided during hours of operation.
