Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of beauty treatments including hair styling, coloring, extensions, and cutting using current techniques and trends.
• Deliver skincare services such as dermabrasion, dermal fillers, esthetic laser treatments, body waxing, and facial treatments with precision and care.
• Apply makeup for special occasions or daily wear, utilizing color theory and makeup application skills to enhance client features.
• Conduct advanced procedures like botulinum toxin treatment, eyelash extensions, dermal fillers, tattooing, and hair threading with professionalism and adherence to safety standards.
• Manage retail sales by recommending products during consultations, conducting product demos, upselling services, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Utilize salon software including Millennium and MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client management, and record keeping.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene in all treatment areas following health regulations.
• Provide excellent guest services through effective communication skills, personalized consultations, and attentive follow-up care.
• Manage social media accounts to promote services, showcase client transformations, and engage with the community.
• Assist at the front desk with scheduling appointments, answering inquiries, and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology license or esthetician certification with comprehensive knowledge of beauty treatments.
• Proven experience in hair styling, coloring (including balayage or highlights), hair extensions, nail care, and makeup application.
• Familiarity with advanced procedures such as Botox or dermal fillers is a plus; med spa experience is highly desirable.
• Strong management skills with the ability to handle multiple clients efficiently while maintaining quality service standards.
• Proficiency in salon management software like Millennium or MINDBODY; experience with salon software is preferred.
• Excellent sanitation practices aligned with industry regulations to ensure client safety.
• Exceptional communication skills for effective client consultations and team collaboration.
• Knowledge of social media management for marketing purposes is advantageous.
• Ability to perform body waxing, hair threading, straight razor shaves, deep tissue massage techniques, and other specialized treatments as needed.
