Chicago, Illinois, United States The Larko Group Full time

Join a tight-knit, twelve-person Portfolio Data & Analytics team where you'll work closely with the Managing Director, Deal Professionals, and senior leaders across the firm. You will be in the mix, helping shape how the firm presents performance, insights, and updates to its investors. As the Reporting Assurance Analyst, you'll be the go-to for making sure everything that goes out to investors from LP emails and press releases to quarterly presentations is accurate, buttoned-up, and backed by solid documentation. You'll help build out clear, organized support materials that make the numbers easy to trace and understand.

While your main focus will be quality and compliance in investor communications, you'll also get hands-on with broader portfolio monitoring, FP&A, valuation modeling, and more. If you're detail-oriented, love digging into data, and want to be part of a high-impact team that collaborates across the firm, this is a great spot for you.

Responsibilities

  • Help prepare various presentations and supporting analyses for the firm's most critical investor meetings, including the annual meeting, semi-annual advisory board meetings, and investor conference calls.
  • Ensure all external communications are accurate and compliant with regulatory standards.
  • Develop and maintain detailed supporting documentation and tie-out work for investor communications.
  • Collaborate with investment teams and senior leadership to verify data and content accuracy.
  • Assist the Investor Relations team with fundraising and diligence requests from LPs and prospective LPs.
  • Support the broader Portfolio Data & Analytics team to ensure accuracy on various quarterly and ad hoc outputs.
  • Continually evaluate possible new technology solutions and propose process revisions to assist in data aggregation as the firm continues to expand portfolio investments in both number and complexity.
  • In addition to the responsibilities outlined above, it is expected that responsibilities will broaden over time.

Ideal Experience

  • A minimum of three years' experience with a degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics or Mathematics is preferred.
  • Organized and efficient, with outstanding attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a desire to work in a collaborative, collegial, team-oriented environment.
  • Very good verbal and written communication and presentation skills; experienced at producing professional-level documents and presentations.
  • Good business acumen, with strong analytical skills.
  • Strong sense of initiative to identify issues and problem-solve.
  • Highly inquisitive orientation with a desire to think analytically and look beyond the obvious.
  • Tenacity in meeting deadlines, with a strong sense of urgency, a great work ethic, and the ability to work autonomously with good self-management discipline.
  • Effective under pressure, in changing environments, and with different technologies, people, and responsibilities
  • Ability to excel in unstructured, ad hoc projects.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office (particularly MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word).
