We are looking for a Dishwasher to join our kitchen staff and maintain cleanliness around our restaurant. Dishwasher responsibilities include collecting used dishes, pots, pans, utensils and washing them in the 3 compartment sinks following SNHDs standards and stacking washed items appropriately for drying. We all work as a team and the cleanliness of our kitchen is of the utmost importance. We take care of our people and want to see them grow in our business. The primary responsibility of a dishwasher is to ensure the overall cleanliness and sanitation of all back of house kitchen. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and company policies, practices, and procedures. During slow hours must help prep/portion/stock food/meal pack

Responsibilities

  • Wash all items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots and pans, utensils, equipment)
  • Store clean dishes and equipment appropriately
  • Set up workstations before meal prep begins
  • Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, pots and pans, and utensils
  • Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents) and place orders when necessary
  • Check washing area is operating properly report any technical/performance issues
  • Checks that sanitation is at the correct measurement and changes all sanitizing buckets around the kitchen every 4 hours
  • Remove garbage regularly
  • Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor
  • Cleans equipment
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.
  • Put food away when deliveries come in
  • Helping during down time with prep work, cutting and chopping vegetables etc.
  • Helping with putting inventory away
