Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team at Anchor Hospital in College Park. This role is vital in ensuring optimal medication management and patient care within our behavioral health facility. The Pharmacist will contribute significantly to our mission of providing comprehensive support for mental health recovery.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee medication management and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient therapy plans.
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services including compounding medications.
  • Educate patients and staff on medication use and safety.
  • Maintain accurate records using pharmacy software and EMR systems.
  • Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and hospital policies.
  • Qualifications
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Strong knowledge of LTC pharmacy practices and critical care.
  • Experience with compounding medications and clinical pharmacy services preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction.
  • Familiarity with pharmacy software and EHR systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
