IPS – Rubbercraft is seeking a Quality Intern who is a student, or a recent graduate undergoing on-the-job supervised training in preparation of a desired career.  The individual performs a variety of tasks that provide business support to a functional area.

This internship is for Spring semester and is expected to run from Monday 1/19/26- Friday 4/17/26 (12 weeks) and will require 20-30 hours of availability per week.

Job Responsibilities:

Provides business support to an assigned functional areaAssists with various projects such as performing research, gathering data, maintaining databases, files and documentsProvides engineering support for manufacturing, testing, quality and design engineering groupsSupports team daily operations by learning and participating in a variety of activitiesParticipates in preparation and delivery of training materialsOpens, sorts and routes incoming mail and makes preparations for outgoing mailOther responsibilities as assignedRegular, consistent and punctual attendance is required.  

Job Specifications:

Education:  A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma/GED and at least two years schooling pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in aerospace, manufacturing, mechanical, or industrial engineering
Years Experience:  0-2 years of relevant work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations
Skills:

Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize with changing situationsAbility to use existing procedures to solve straightforward problemsGood interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to drive tasks to completionWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office
