Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team at a fast-paced gelato kiosk. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing an exceptional dining experience. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have a memorable experience.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and present menus in a friendly manner.
• Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
• Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience.
• Process cash register transactions, ensuring accuracy in payments.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining a high standard of presentation.
• Monitor tables to ensure customer satisfaction and address any needs or concerns promptly.
• Sanitate work areas and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to provide informed recommendations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a quick service fast food restaurant or café is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with cash register operations is a plus.
• A team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues in a dynamic setting.
