What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious behavior within the retail environment.
• Document and report any irregularities, incidents, or security-related concerns according to Allied Universal guidelines.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel as required during incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate clearly with team members and store staff to support a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or 5 years of Armed security-related experience
• Possess an armed guard card or armed guard license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Hold a Level III armed certification if located in Texas.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
