Escrow Assistant

About the job:

This position supports the Escrow Department in facilitating real estate transactions through to closing. It's a fast-paced, team-oriented role requiring strong organization, communication, and attention to detail. Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist escrow officers with transaction management from opening to closing.
• Review title commitments and identify potential issues.
• Coordinate with buyers, sellers, agents, lenders.
• Prepare and organize closing files and documentation.
• Request and gather information needed for closing (e.g., payoffs, HOA details, insurance).
• Problem-solve issues that arise during the closing process.
• Maintain excellent communication and provide timely updates to all involved parties.
• Monitoring Escrow email inbox.

Preferred Experience:

• Background in title insurance, real estate, or banking is preferred.
• Familiarity with real estate closing documents and terminology is preferred.
• SoftPro experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Salary range is $20-$25/hour, depending on experience.
