Billing Processor

Codilis & Associates, P.C. represents creditors in Foreclosure, Bankruptcy and Real Estate related matters. We are current seeking a full-time Legal Assistant in the Billing Department to join our team. This is a fast paced position that requires the ability to work well independently and must be a self starter.

Job Description: This position is responsible for various functions in the Billing Department including but not limited to: generating Foreclosure, Mediation, Bankruptcy Filed, Eviction, Consent Judgment, Milestone Billing, Post Sale Invoices and/or any other Miscellaneous invoices within the timeframes set forth by the Servicer as well as requesting additional fee approval and responding to client/staff billing questions.

Responsibilites & Duties:

• Calculate fees and costs based on work completed by reviewing file notes, and prepare our final invoice within the timeframes.
• Responsible for taking client calls or emails that generally relate to requests for invoice copies, outstanding invoices, line item documentation.
• Responsible for answering client/staff billing questions.
• Responsible for general knowledge of the Foreclosure, Mediation, Bankruptcy Filed and Eviction process.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma; degree preferred
• Related College Coursework preferred
• Related experience preferred
• Computer proficient and able to type 40 wpm
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail oriented and able to quickly adapt to change and/or changing priorities
• Strong organizational skills
• Attention to details and procedures
• Sets and follows logical priorities
• Capable of handling multiple task
• Strong numerical aptitude
