Job Overview

M Health Fairview is looking for a Lead EVS Aide at our UMMC West Bank location, in Minneapolis, MN.

This position will perform cleaning duties as assigned to keep the facility orderly, attractive, clean and sanitary. 

This position is represented under the union SEIU. 

Location: UMMC West Bank, located in Minneapolis

Hours: 40 hours biweekly, with every other weekend dedication

Shift: Day

Schedule

Week 1:

Mon: 7:00am - 3:30pm (Lead)

Fri: 7:00am - 3:30pm

Sat: 6:00am - 2:30pm (Lead)

Sun: 6:00am - 2:30pm (Lead)

Week 2:

Thu: 7:00am - 3:30pm (Lead)

Responsibilities:

  • Cleans rooms and areas safely and follows work rules.

  • Uses the right cleaning supplies and equipment for each job.

  • Handles trash, dirty linens, and chemicals carefully.

  • Helps keep supplies stocked and reports broken equipment.

  • Stays safe by using gloves, signs, and other safety tools.

  • Is kind, respectful, and helpful to patients, visitors, and coworkers.

  • Works well with others and solves problems in a polite way.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School diploma/GED
  • Previous Housekeeping/Environmental Service experience
