Role Overview:

We are seeking a Lead Application Analyst to assist the Application Architect while bridging the gap between business strategy and technology. This role requires a professional with strong business acumen, .NET development skills, and experience in core banking applications. The ideal candidate will have led teams, driven payment-related initiatives, and worked closely with commercial banking clients.

This role combines technical expertise with strategic business insight, ensuring application performance aligns with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Application Architect to implement business and technology strategies.

  • Lead and coordinate application teams, assigning tasks and providing input for performance management.

  • Analyze, design, and optimize business applications to meet performance, reliability, and scalability goals.

  • Monitor system health, review logs, and proactively resolve application issues.

  • Formulate and define system requirements based on business needs and objectives.

  • Recommend improvements for business processes and system designs.

  • Act as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and vendors; manage vendor relationships and contracts.

  • Participate in project management activities, including work plan timelines, service demand forecasts, and business case development.

  • Lead strategic planning for application platforms to support growth and organizational objectives.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and risk management policies.

Must-Have Qualifications & Experience:
  • Core Banking Expertise: Minimum 7 years supporting core banking clients.

  • Payment Modules Experience: Proficiency in Online Banking, ACH, Wire Transfers, Bill Pay, and other commercial banking payment applications.

  • Technical Skills: Strong hands-on experience with .NET technologies.

  • Leadership Experience: Prior experience as a lead in commercial banking technology projects.

  • Local Candidates Preferred: Willingness to relocate if not local.

Education & Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in relevant field required.

  • Advanced training/certifications in application domains preferred.
