Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced AI/ML Architect with deep Snowflake expertise to lead the architecture, design, and deployment of advanced AI/ML workloads. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technical expert who understands the full data science lifecycle, MLOps, generative AI, and the Snowflake ecosystem. This role will support customers, internal delivery teams, and system integrators in implementing enterprise-grade AI/ML solutions leveraging Snowflake and its partner ecosystem.

Requirements
Snowflake AI/ML Expertise
  • Serve as the technical authority on all Snowflake capabilities related to AI/ML workloads.
  • Provide customers with best practices for Data Science and ML workloads on Snowflake.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of competitive and complementary technologies in the AI/ML landscape.
Solution Architecture & Delivery
  • Architect, build, and deploy ML pipelines using Snowflake features and ecosystem partner tools.
  • Develop and deliver POCs using SQL and Python to demonstrate design patterns and best practices.
  • Ensure smooth implementation of Snowflake in customer environments by collaborating with SI partners.
  • Provide technical guidance and resolve customer-specific challenges during design, migration, or implementation.
Knowledge Transfer & Enablement
  • Conduct workshops, demos, and enablement sessions to empower customer teams.
  • Document architectural patterns, implementation guides, and reusable frameworks.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Engage with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing teams to influence Snowflake roadmap and go-to-market strategy.
  • Support internal Professional Services members to deepen their Snowflake and AI/ML expertise.
GenAI & Advanced Capabilities
  • Guide customers on Cortex Search, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Generative AI integration patterns.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 12–14 years of customer-facing technical experience (pre-sales or post-sales).
  • Strong presentation and whiteboarding skills with both executive and technical stakeholders.

  • Full understanding of the data science lifecycle:

  • Feature engineering

  • Model development
  • Model deployment

  • Model monitoring/management

  • Deep knowledge of MLOps, deployment strategies, and model monitoring.

  • Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Experience with at least one Data Science platform:

    AWS Sagemaker, AzureML, Dataiku, DataRobot, H2O, Jupyter Notebooks
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and one or more of: Python, Java, Scala.
  • Familiarity with data science libraries such as Pandas, PyTorch, TensorFlow, SciKit-Learn, or similar.
Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points)
  • Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, Vector Databases.
  • Experience with Databricks, Apache Spark.
  • Experience building data pipelines with ETL tools.
  • Prior hands-on experience in a Data Scientist role.
  • Enterprise software deployment experience.
  • Vertical domain expertise in industries such as Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, etc.
