As a Security Officer - Access Control Full Time in Point Comfort, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic chemical and petrochemical environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure atmosphere for staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials and authorizations for employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies in alignment with Allied Universal standards.
• Provide customer service by assisting individuals entering or exiting the location and addressing questions or concerns in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
• Observe and report any security-related hazards, maintenance issues, or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of access logs, incident reports, and daily activity as required by site policies.
• Support emergency response activities by following site procedures and assisting emergency services as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
