Position Overview: We're looking for an experienced Construction Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing accounting functions for construction or home improvement businesses, strong organizational skills, and

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
  • Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports
  • Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks, and Sync with KickServ CRM
  • Track job costs, deposits, and project budgets
  • Request and follow up on customer payments
  • Assist with payroll, commission, and subcontractor payments
  • Generate and analyze financial reports
  • Communicate with project managers and vendors to ensure accurate billing and coding
  • Support general administrative and financial operations as needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks (required)
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and problem-solving skills

Schedule & Compensation:

  • Part-time position (approximately 20-32 hours per week)
  • Competitive pay based on experience
