Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various destinations, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and maintaining positive interactions with customers. Candidates with experience in warehouse operations, commercial driving, and handling heavy loads will find this position well-suited to their skills. A valid driver's license and familiarity with route driving are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver products to customers across designated routes
  • Load and unload cargo using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques
  • Ensure accurate loading and securement of goods to prevent damage during transit
  • Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies
  • Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries
  • Maintain delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle inspection reports
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
  • Assist in warehouse tasks as needed, including inventory management and stock organization

Experience

  • Prior delivery driver experience preferred, especially with route driving and commercial vehicle operation
  • Warehouse experience is a plus, particularly with heavy lifting, moving, forklift operation, or pallet jack use
  • Proven ability to handle heavy loads safely and efficiently
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
  • Valid driver's license required; clean driving record preferred
  • Experience in courier services or similar roles involving load & unload operations is beneficial
