A full-service warehouse distribution company specializing in interior building materials and B2B fulfillment services is seeking highly motivated and energetic individuals to be a part of our fast-paced and growing organization. This position receives, stores and distributes materials, tools, equipment and products, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist shipping and receiving, unload trucks, check in merchandise, match purchase orders to sales orders and distribute to sales associates for processing.
  • Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped.
  • Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code.
  • RF scanner experience preferred.
  • Experience in picking orders and/or cycle counting in a warehouse environment.
  • 1-year minimum experience in operating a forklift.
  • Ability to multi-task, count (add, subtract, multiply) and be detail oriented.
  • Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve overall warehouse operations.

Requirements:

  • 2 or more year(s) of experience.
  • High School Graduate - Minimum.
  • Basic computer & math skills - Knowledge of WMS Systems preferred.
  • Good communication skills and fluent in English.
  • Ability to clearly compose and comprehend E-mail communication.
  • Valid, active Driver's License.
  • Ability to load and unload heavy items up to 70 lbs.
  • Pass a criminal back-ground check, drug screen and physical.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Clean appearance.

Employment Type

Type: This is a in person, full-time position, Monday through Friday.

Travel: Travel is not required.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 70 pounds.
