Warehouse Associate

A full-service warehouse distribution company specializing in interior building materials and B2B fulfillment services is seeking highly motivated and energetic individuals to be a part of our fast-paced and growing organization. This position receives, stores and distributes materials, tools, equipment and products, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist shipping and receiving, unload trucks, check in merchandise, match purchase orders to sales orders and distribute to sales associates for processing.
- Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped.
- Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code.
- RF scanner experience preferred.
- Experience in picking orders and/or cycle counting in a warehouse environment.
- 1-year minimum experience in operating a forklift.
- Ability to multi-task, count (add, subtract, multiply) and be detail oriented.
- Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
- Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve overall warehouse operations.
Requirements:
- 2 or more year(s) of experience.
- High School Graduate - Minimum.
- Basic computer & math skills - Knowledge of WMS Systems preferred.
- Good communication skills and fluent in English.
- Ability to clearly compose and comprehend E-mail communication.
- Valid, active Driver's License.
- Ability to load and unload heavy items up to 70 lbs.
- Pass a criminal back-ground check, drug screen and physical.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Clean appearance.
Employment Type
Type: This is a in person, full-time position, Monday through Friday.
Travel: Travel is not required.

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 70 pounds.
