Duck Donuts opening a new store in College Park, MD. We are fast-paced, engaging, and customer centric. Our goal is to provide exceptional customer service, create delicious made-to-order donuts, and maintain a clean and organized workspace. As a Team Member/Cashier, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient dining experience. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will:

  • Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately
  • Deliver friendly and efficient customer service in a fast-paced environment
  • Assist with food preparation and ensure food safety standards are met
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining and service areas
  • Support team goals through upselling and effective time management

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing exceptional service to all Duck Donuts guests.
  • Operating the cash register accurately.
  • Creating a variety of hot, iced, and frozen beverages.
  • Creating beautiful donuts customized for each guest.
  • Prepares donut batter and operates the donut fryer. (*18+ years of age required.)
  • Prepares recipes according to Duck Donuts standards.
  • Maintains and clean, safe, and friendly work environment.
  • Works as part of a team to complete orders efficiently.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Welcome customers with a smile and provide exceptional customer service
  • Prepare and bake made-to-order donuts to customer specifications
  • Decorate donuts with a variety of toppings and flavors
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Operate a cash register and handle financial transactions accurately
  • Follow health and safety procedures

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in the food industry preferred, but not required
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Availability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds
  • Enthusiasm for donuts and a willingness to learn
