Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across designated routes. This role requires a strong understanding of various truck types and the ability to manage different driving conditions. The Truck Driver will play a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.

Duties

  • Operate and drive various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, bob-tails and flatbeds.
  • Load and unload freight, ensuring secure transport of goods.
  • Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to delivery schedules.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes traveled, and cargo transported.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays encountered during transport.
  • Utilize forklifts or other equipment as necessary for loading/unloading tasks. Piggy Back forklift experience prefered.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to commercial driving.

Skills

  • Proficient in driving manual transmission vehicles.
  • Experience with trailers, flatbeds, and bob-tail trucks is highly desirable.
  • Strong background in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
  • Ability to handle freight efficiently through load and unload processes.
  • Familiarity with route driving and delivery driver experience is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour
