We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Test Data Lead to architect and manage test data strategies across multiple environments. This role is critical to ensuring high-quality software delivery by enabling robust, reliable, and scalable test data solutions that support functional, integration, performance, and regression testing.

Your role
  • Analyze application requirements and test strategies to architect comprehensive test data sets that support various testing types including functional, integration, performance, and regression.
  • Develop scripts and processes to migrate large volumes of data between environments (e.g., production to staging) while maintaining referential integrity and compliance.
  • Build automated tools for test data generation, refresh, and management. Integrate these tools with CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery cycles.
  • Conduct data validation checks to ensure completeness, correctness, and consistency of test data sets. Resolve anomalies and discrepancies proactively.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation on test data architecture, data models, data flow diagrams, and process manuals to support transparency and knowledge sharing.
  • Work closely with QA, development, DevOps, and business teams to understand data requirements and streamline dependencies to ensure timely and accurate data availability.
  • Evaluate current test data processes and tools, identifying opportunities for optimization and innovation to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Your skills and experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related experience
  • 5+ years of experience in test data management, QA, or software testing roles.
  • Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, SQL, Shell) for data manipulation and automation.
  • Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and database technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $76,200 - $178,290. This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees. Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable. The amount and availability of any bonus, commission, or any other form of compensation that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Company's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Company's sole discretion, consistent with the law.
