Job Summary
Leads donor engagement efforts as a key member of the Philanthropic Engagement Team. Manages and implements meaningful donor events and stewardship activities that deepen connections to the organization's mission. Partners across teams to create authentic, mission-driven experiences that inspire continued philanthropic support. Reports to the Director of Communications and Philanthropic Engagement. In this role, the leader sets the tone and models positive leadership behavior, while ensuring team work tasks, projects, and responsibilities are completed successfully in support of departmental and organizational goals.

Required Qualifications

  • Require a Bachelor's degree in business, nonprofit management, public relations or other related field.
  • Require a minimum of five (5) years of experience managing donor and cultivation events in a non-profit organization, or a comparable customer-service/revenue-driven environment.
  • Require flexibility plus willingness and ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prefer self-starter with excellent organizational and project management skills. Prefer ability to adapt to a high-pressure events environment, with collaboration, creativity and deadline-driven focus.
  • Prefer proven ability to synthesize big picture strategy to tactical level action, and ability to manage time and budgets.
  • Prefer experience managing staff and/or volunteers for events.
  • Prefer capacity to be flexible and adaptive in a fast-paced environment; ability to problem solve and negotiate with vendors, contractors etc.
  • Prefer superior communications and customer service skills. Exceeds expectations when collaborating with internal staff and external constituents.
  • Prefer familiarity with applicable computer software, including Adobe Creative suite, Raiser's Edge, and Microsoft Office.
  • Prefer proven ability to prioritize, organize, multi-task, and execute events in a high-pressure environment, while staying focused on details, delivery, and guest experience.
