Job Description

As a Security Officer - Tech Front Desk in Rochester, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will be the first point of contact, welcoming visitors and managing access to the facility. You will maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and guests at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials, and assist with visitor management to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed, following established protocols for the location.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of daily activities, incidents, and visitor interactions as required by site policies.
• Support a welcoming and professional environment while performing all front desk security-related duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
