IDR is seeking a
Sr Python Developer
to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Nashville, Tennessee. This role involves working within a cutting-edge cloud-based data resolution project in the healthcare industry, focusing on building and optimizing large-scale data pipelines and entity resolution processes using Python and cloud data tools. The position offers a dynamic environment where technical expertise and collaboration are highly valued.

Position Overview for the Sr Python Developer:

  • Review and optimize existing Python-based entity resolution logic to ensure accurate merging of new and legacy data sets
  • Implement minor but critical code updates to accommodate new data sources while maintaining data integrity
  • Design, develop, and maintain data ingestion pipelines in Snowflake to support seamless data integration
  • Implement advanced deduplication and record matching algorithms to prevent duplicate records
  • Continuously improve entity resolution processes for better data accuracy and performance

Requirements for the Sr Python Developer:

  • Strong python skills for large scale data engineering with experience interlaying SQL and python interchangeably to leverage each languages strength
  • Experience using python to build and orchestrate dynamic data pipelines in a cloud environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of entity resolution processes, methods for resolving identities, and text similarity algorithms
  • Experience working in a large codebase simultaneously with others, object-oriented programming, and refactoring code written by other developers
  • Built python and entity level processes a lot of time; this is more commercial Objected Oriented Programming (OOP); Real time streaming for data; mention of window functions or partitioning; Pyspark, Snowpark, Pandas
