Position: DevOps Engineer

Client Profile
We are working with a well-funded AI startup in New York focused on solving complex logistics problems for major companies like Amazon and Walmart.
Responsibilities
  • Work with a creative engineering team to architect, implement and build deployment solutions while being mindful of reliability, maintainability, scalability
  • Work across several products and teams to build frameworks, tools, and utilities to streamline operational efficiency for our customer
  • Debug production outages and take actions resulting from root cause analysis
  • Own, extend and maintain the AWS based infrastructure hosting the CI/CD tools and ensure we have scalable, global infrastructure to support our product and development team needs
  • Build logging, monitoring, and alerting systems to identify bottlenecks and assist with debugging, analysis, and optimization
Qualifications 
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field is required. MS degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of DevOps experience
  • Experience building, maintaining, and monitoring continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
  • Prior work with Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Postgres, MySQL, Redis, ElasticSearch, microservices, message queues and related technologies
  • AWS, Google Cloud(GCP), or Azure required
