About The Role
Join Peraton in advancing the safety, efficiency, and modernization of the National Airspace System (NAS) through the FAA's Brand New Air Traffic Control System (BNATCS) contract. As a trusted partner to the Federal Aviation Administration, Peraton helps deliver the systems and services that keep our nation's skies safe and connected.
We're looking for innovative professionals who thrive in mission-critical environments and are passionate about shaping the future of air traffic management. This is your chance to make an impact on one of the world's most vital transportation infrastructures, working alongside leaders in aviation, engineering, data science, and systems integration.
At Peraton, you won't just support the mission - you'll define it.
Join a team dedicated to protecting the safety and integrity of U.S. air travel. Peraton is seeking an Integration, Fusion & Portfolio Lead to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The ideal candidate will oversee the alignment, integration, and strategic coordination of FAA modernization initiatives across systems, portfolios, and workstreams. Whether you're supporting safety validation efforts or leading teams on major FAA programs, your work will directly impact the millions of passengers and aviation professionals who rely on safe, efficient airspace operations every day.
In this position, you will:
- Provide strategic oversight of FAA modernization portfolios, ensuring integration across systems and programs.
- Lead fusion activities that align technical, financial, and operational priorities across workstreams.
- responsible for synchronizing program activities, ensuring cross-system interoperability, and providing portfolio-level oversight to maximize efficiency, reduce duplication, and deliver measurable value to the FAA mission.
- Develop and maintain portfolio roadmaps that connect enterprise objectives with program outcomes.
- Ensure cross-system interoperability, compliance, and technical consistency.
- Conduct trade studies, impact assessments, and risk analyses for integration strategies.
- Collaborate with FAA leadership, engineers, and program managers to prioritize initiatives.
- Monitor portfolio performance and provide metrics, dashboards, and executive-level reporting.
- Support decision-making with data-driven insights on costs, risks, and dependencies.
- Facilitate stakeholder alignment and governance forums to resolve integration issues.
- Prepare audit-ready documentation, roadmaps, and integration records.
- Ensure FAA portfolios comply with federal acquisition, safety, and cybersecurity frameworks.
Why This Role Matters
As aviation and federal programs evolve, any weakness in underlying infrastructure can impact operations and service delivery on a national scale. As the Integration, Fusion & Portfolio Lead, you will ensure that FAA investments are strategically aligned, resources are optimized, and outcomes deliver maximum safety and efficiency. Your leadership directly impacts the FAA's ability to manage air traffic, enable innovation, and sustain the world's safest aviation system.
