BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join the team in Erie County, PA. BAYADA's special needs caregivers - Direct Support Professionals DSPs - work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion and mentor for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability to help them reach their full potential. We are PART-TIME and provide flexibility with scheduling through various shift locations and times throughout Erie County, PA.

We are needing compassionate and reliable DSPs to work 2:1 with a client in Erie, PA:

• Friday evenings
• Saturday (mornings and evenings)
• Sunday (mornings and evenings)

How You'll Make an Impact:

• Companion Services
• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
• Spend time on the client's favorite hobbies and activities
• In-Home and Community-Based Support
• Support the client's goals towards independence in the home and community
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments

• Community Participation Services

• Participate in community integration activities to focus on socialization

Compensation & Schedule:

• Competitive pay rates starting at $18.50 / hour (depending on experience) with a weekly pay schedule
• Flexible scheduling (part-time, various shifts)
• Short commute times (we try to match opportunities within 30 minutes near your home)

Qualifications for Our Support Professionals:

• One year or more experience working with intellectual and development disabilities
• High school diploma or equivalent (18+)
• Ability to transport clients to community activities
