Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Financial Site Patrol in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for suspicious behavior and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support access control measures and verify the credentials of individuals entering restricted areas within the location.
  • Document incidents and maintain detailed records of activities and observations during patrols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents at the location.
  • Remain alert and prepared to respond to security-related emergencies, following established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience or possess a college degree.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
