IT Help Desk Technicians
in Brookfield, Wisconsin. In this role, you will provide direct support to end users by troubleshooting hardware, software, peripherals, and network systems to keep operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to corporate and remote users through in-person, phone, or email communication.
  • Investigate and resolve user issues related to hardware, software, and networking.
  • Support end users with personal computers, peripherals, and mobile devices.
  • Assist with ordering, tracking, imaging, and deployment of IT assets.
  • Maintain detailed troubleshooting logs and documentation.
  • Collaborate with other IT functions, including network and software teams, to restore service and identify root causes.
  • Apply security patches, software, and BIOS updates to company systems.
  • Document solutions and recommend system configuration changes to prevent recurrence.
  • Provide feedback on recurring issues and improvement opportunities.
  • Perform other IT-related duties as required.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Proficient knowledge of printers, desktops, laptops, and networking equipment.
  • Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma required; Associate's degree or specialized IT training preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of professional IT support experience required.
  • Familiarity with common IT tools and technologies.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, talking, and hearing.
  • Frequent use of hands for handling and operating computers and peripherals.
  • Occasional climbing, stooping, bending, or reaching above the shoulders.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
  • Must be comfortable working in confined spaces when necessary.
  • Ability to see clearly at various distances and adjust focus as required.

Working Environment

  • Office-based position with occasional travel required.
  • Standard business hours with occasional after-hours or weekend work for system maintenance or emergencies.
