TAG Restaurant Group is all about food, wine, hospitality, and service from around the world. Chef/Owner Troy Guard currently operates 11 restaurants in the Denver and Houston markets. Troy and his executive team are creating a group with a culture where we showcase enthusiasm and explore the world of cuisine, cocktails, wine, and service. Guard and Grace Denver, Chef Troy Guard's most ambitious restaurant to date, opened in early 2014. It's a spectacular 9,000-square-foot space, located in the heart of Downtown Denver's business center on the street level of the 56-floor Brookfield Building.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Host to guide our hosting team and ensure guests receive the best first impression possible. This role requires strong leadership skills, exceptional communication, and the ability to manage guest flow while maintaining a welcoming environment.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for our guests, setting the standard for hospitality.
  • Lead and mentor the host/hostess team, ensuring smooth operations and consistent service.
  • Oversee the reservation system and guest seating strategy to maximize efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor the waiting area and communicate effectively with the team to accommodate guests promptly.
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with professionalism and care.
  • Maintain an organized, approachable, and professional presence at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of hosting experience in a fine-dining establishment.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail.
