As a Risk Manager at Capital One you'll be responsible for working with business partners to identify and mitigate potential risks to Capital One. Risk Managers at Capital One are highly motivated Risk Management professionals with excellent organizational and communication skills. They have a high level of exposure across lines of business and have the opportunity to create and implement innovative solutions to identify and mitigate potential risks to the Company. This position will focus on Data Risk Management for Capital One's Retail Bank organization.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee operational risk management and compliance across the data management control suite
• Drive and monitor adherence to enterprise data standards and procedures
• Manage relationships and optimize scheduling with critical partner teams for control testing activities
• Lead data lifecycle process management initiatives, including roadmap development, data management process flow documentation, and ongoing gap analysis
• Actively identify and drive improvements to control suite composition and operations
• Manage, implement and deliver on local data governance processes and procedures

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
• At least 4 years of Financial Services Data or Risk Management experience
• At least 3 years of Project or Program management experience
• At least 5 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal business clients

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or military experience
• 5+ years of experience leading cross functional projects or programs
• 5+ years of Financial Services Data or Risk Management experience
• Process, Project or Risk Management professional certification

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $146,100 - $166,700 for Risk Manager

Richmond, VA: $132,800 - $151,600 for Risk Manager

Wilmington, DE: $132,800 - $151,600 for Risk Manager

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
