Lead Java Developer

Alpharetta, GA (Onsite Only – No Remote)

Duration:
6+ Months

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, high-performance applications.
  • Utilize expertise in Java (Core and Frameworks), Spring, Spring MVC, Hibernate, Tomcat, Git, and Maven.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on architecture design, code reviews, and solution implementation.
  • Mentor and support junior developers, fostering skill development and team cohesion.
  • Establish and promote coding best practices, standards, and continuous improvement.
  • Operate effectively both independently and within an Agile team environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 8+ years of professional Java development experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading or mentoring development teams.
  • Proficiency in frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or Struts.
  • Strong understanding of database design and software design patterns.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Preferred:
    U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders
