Job Description

As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Driver in Patterson, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will have the opportunity to monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing outstanding customer service. This position requires driving as you move between assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to support a secure shopping environment. You will interact with the public and report any unusual activity, all while reflecting our values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or violations of site policies to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist customers and/or employees with directions, information, or general inquiries as needed during patrols.
• Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and monitoring for unusual activities within the location.
• Complete required reports and documentation regarding incidents, observations, or any security-related matters encountered during patrols.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site management to address client needs and maintain a welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
