Hot Chix is seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in leading and managing the daily operations during your assigned shifts. Responsibilities:

1. Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of crew members, ensuring they are motivated, productive, and deliver outstanding customer service.

2. Opening and Closing Duties: Oversee the opening and closing procedures of the restaurant, including cash handling, reconciling registers, and ensuring a smooth transition between shifts.

3. Training: Train new crew members on company policies, procedures, and standards, providing guidance and support as they acclimate to their roles.

4. Customer Service: Set a positive example for excellent customer service, addressing customer concerns or issues professionally and promptly.

5. Team Coordination: Coordinate and delegate tasks among team members to ensure efficient and effective workflow during busy periods.

6. Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory levels, conducting stock checks, efficiently placing orders, identifying reorder points and notifying management of any shortages or excesses.

7. Quality Control: Monitor food quality, presentation, and overall restaurant cleanliness, addressing any issues as they arise.

8. Cash Handling: Handle cash transactions accurately, reconcile registers, and prepare daily reports.

9. Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety and sanitation standards, ensuring compliance with health regulations and company policies.

10. Order Coordination: Facilitate the timely and accurate flow of orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring each dish meets Hot Chix's quality standards.

11. Communication: Effectively communicate with kitchen staff and other team members to relay order details, special requests, and timing expectations.

12. Timing Management: Coordinate the timing of multiple orders to ensure that all items for a table are ready simultaneously.

13. Garnishing: Add final touches to dishes, including garnishes and sauces, before they are sent out to customers.

14. Allergen Awareness: Stay informed about food allergens and dietary restrictions, ensuring that special requests are accurately communicated to the kitchen.

15. Problem Solving: Handle any discrepancies or issues with orders promptly and professionally, working closely with kitchen and service staff to find solutions.

16. Cleanliness: Keep the expo station and surrounding areas clean and organized, following sanitation and hygiene standards.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role in the restaurant industry.

2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

3. Ability to effectively manage a team and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

4. Knowledge of POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash handling procedures.

5. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

6. Familiarity with food safety and sanitation practices.

7. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.

8. Strong attention to detail and commitment to food presentation and quality.

9. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in a fast-casual or fried chicken restaurant.

2. Familiarity with Hot Chix's menu items and brand.

3. ServSafe or other relevant certifications.

4. Knowledge of Hot Chix's menu items and presentation standards.

5. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.

6. Previous experience in a fast casual or fried chicken restaurant.

Pay: From $18.50 per hour
